瀑布
- waterfall
This is my first entry in ages as I've been busy moving and starting my new job. But today I learnt a new word, which inspired me to write about it.
Today John, Teresa and I went for a walk around Lydford gorge and saw the White Lady Waterfall (so called because legend has it that if you fall in the pool at the bottom, a white lady will appear and save you. Stupid legend). We also saw some very tame wild ponies on Dartmoor. All in all, a good day.

Interestingly, the two characters in water fall mean 'shower' and 'cloth'.
今天我们看了白女瀑布。
